In 1929 Oliver Chilled Plow, Hart-Parr, American Seeding Machine, and Nichols & Shepard merged to form the Oliver Farm Equipment Corporation. Oliver’S first tractor was the 18-28 introduced in 1930. Many follow-on models were produced over the years, including the very popular 60, 70, and 80 models.Oliver was purchased by White Motor in 1960 and by 1973 the Oliver name was dropped when White consolidated tractor lines into the White brand.
