A reconditioned engine includes everything you see. These engines are magnafluxed and checked for cracks. The engines are taken completely apart and every part was cleaned, and inspected.
I have 8N, and 9N motors that I can recondition or do complete rebuilds on, e-mail for prices. Most engines DO NOT include the manifold, cylinder head, fly wheel, carb, oil canister, starter, governor, water pump, and alternator.
If you would like a completely rebuilt engine with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor with turn in of old block that has no cracks or welds, e-mail for prices. Call or email if freight charges seem excessive. Sometimes I can get better rates.
All engines come with no fluids. The oil pump will need primed prior to you starting or you will burn up the motor.
I will not warranty any engine damaged during installation

Magnafluxing, developed originally by Carl E. Betz, is a method of testing ferrous metals for surface and subsurface flaws. The component being tested must be made of a ferromagnetic material such as iron, or cobalt, or some of their alloys. This test is often used on industrial tools and engine parts during maintenance inspections. It can also be used to diagnose failure, as in crash investigations.
It works by applying a magnetic field to the component under test using a permanent magnet. This will cause a high concentration of magnetic flux at surface cracks, which can be made visible by dusting iron powder or a similar magnetic material over the component.
Parts can be tested using one of two methods. The wet method consists of bathing the parts in a solution containing iron oxide particles. The wetted part is then placed in a magnetic field and inspected using a black light ultraviolet light. The iron oxide particles are attracted to surface discontinuities or cracks, where the magnetic field is discontinuous. The particles flux around the imperfections and the patterns are visible under the black light.
The dry method is based on the same principle. Parts are dusted with iron oxide particles and charged using a yoke. The particles are attracted to the discontinuities and are visible by black light.

ALL ENGINES HAVE NO FLUIDS IN THEM. ALL PUMPS NEED TO BE PRIMED PRIOR TO STARTING. ALL ENGINES NEED 50 HOURS OF BREAK IN PERIOD PRIOR TO ATTACHING ANY IMPLEMENTS TO THE TRACTOR. IMPROPER PRIMING OF THE PUMP OR FAILURE TO ALLOW THE PROPER BREAK IN PERIOD VOIDS THIS WARRANTY.
You are purchasing this engine knowing that it is not a completely rebuilt motor.
I have read the warranty and understand the instructions for priming the engine and break in periods.
